Conservative Robert Syms wins Poole seat

Robert Syms secured his fourth term for Poole. Mr Syms won with a 7,541 majority over the Lib Dems, winning 22,532 of the 47,436 votes (47.5%).  Lib Dems 31.6%. Labour 12.74%

Identity Fraud threat after post stolen from external post boxes

Following a number of recent thefts from external mail boxes situated on the garden wails of large houses in the Dorset area, Police are asking residents to be extra careful and to be aware of “id theft”.

Shed and Garage Burglaries

Shed and garage burglaries are continuing to occur across the area. Recently a resident discovered a male sitting on his property wall whilst another was discovered inside his shed at the rear. He challenged the male, who claimed he was “hiding”. There was no evidence that any theft had taken place or been attempted. [...]
